In 2018, the Ministry for Planning and Development released its plan for Pakistan for 2025 known as “Pakistan Vision 2025.” This document lays out a blueprint to put Pakistan on the fast track to becoming one of the world’s largest economies by 2025. FICS at NUST, recognizes the importance of this vision and seeks to implement that vision by providing the “road to change”. FICS does this by creating a social entrepreneurship forum for students from all across Pakistan, in the effort to foster innovation and discourse towards solving imperative social and environmental issues pulling Pakistan behind the rest of the world.
iENGINEERING believes in the vision of FICS to empower the youth to develop novel and innovative solutions applicable across a spectrum of issues gripping Pakistan. iENGINEERING commends FICS for providing a platform that offers students with the opportunity to interact with leaders of the tech industry to provide them insight into real-time problem solving. To supplement that innovation, iENGINEERING wishes to equip these students with the skills and knowledge required to channel those innovative ideas into becoming pragmatic solutions for the FICS challenge and their professional careers.
Following is the layout for the boot camp:
- A short refresher training for the teams at FICS, NUST to be proficient in the most in-demand tech stacks at a professional level including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Postgres SQL, Jest, and the React ecosystem.
- The boot camp will be led by senior-level developers from the industry who will impart technical and interpretational skills to students.
- Interactive demonstrations and sessions for effective knowledge transfer.
- The team members will receive a certificate of participation for the boot camp.
